Bill Nace / Mike Polizze Duo – Live At Pageant : Soloveev
$29.95
Nace has spent years building a reputation in the avant/noise world through Body/Head alongside Kim Gordon, while Polizze's work with Purling Hiss has always carried a raw, psychedelic edge that sits just left of center. Catching this pairing live, on first outing, preserved in all its lo-fi immediacy, is exactly the kind of document that turns a one-night collision into something the underground keeps returning to.
Back in May of '25, Body/Head's Bill Nace and Purling Hiss' Mike Polizze launched an improv duo with an unhindered exhibition of full-spectrum free string playing at Philadelphia's Pageant Soloveev. Mike + Bill, on gtr & taishigoto respectively, their unique idioms colliding with sibilant crunch across twenty-three minutes of forever captured on iPhone and carved into vinyl. Wild molten rock to keep noise freeks spinning for eternity.
