Bonobo – Black Sands (2-LP Vinyl)

Simon Green had been quietly building one of electronic music's most patient, considered catalogs since the early 2000s, and Black Sands was the moment the wider world caught up. The album's organic instrumentation, live jazz ensemble feel, and deep hip-hop rhythmic sensibility made it a touchstone for an entire generation of producers working somewhere between the dancefloor and the headphone listening session.
