Charles Lloyd – Flowering (LP Vinyl)
$59.95
By the time Charles Lloyd recorded these European performances in 1967, his quartet had become one of the most electric units in jazz, drawing crowds more accustomed to rock festivals than concert halls. Jarrett, McBee, and DeJohnette were still early in careers that would each become towering, and you can hear the collective hunger in every exchange.
Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. The Flowering is a live album by jazz saxophonist Charles Lloyd performed in France and Norway by the Charles Lloyd Quartet featuring Keith Jarrett, Cecil McBee and Jack DeJohnette.
