Rodrigo y Gabriela – OurHome (White, Red & Blue LP Vinyl)
$26.95
The Mexico City-born duo built their early reputation busking on Grafton Street in Dublin before festival stages and headline tours made them one of acoustic music's most visceral live acts. That physical, percussive attack on nylon strings has always been the signature, and hearing it applied to something this meditative and geographically rooted makes OurHome a genuine pivot point in their catalog. The layered vinyl pressing matches the album's own sense of depth.
Grammy-winning guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela returns to the textural fluidity of acoustic instrumentation on their new album ‘OurHome’. Self-produced in a Tokyo studio, the odyssey-like album unfolds with an otherworldly beauty achieved with guests from former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman to Japanese jazz pianist Hiromi. OurHome echoes all the transcendence and serenity that Rodrigo y Gabriela have routinely experienced in their journeys to Japan.
