Whitechapel – Valley

Whitechapel built their reputation on some of the heaviest deathcore the Knoxville scene ever produced, so when *Valley* arrived in 2019, the vulnerability on display genuinely caught the metal world off guard. Phil Bozeman's willingness to confront trauma and grief head-on gave the record an emotional weight that resonated far beyond their core fanbase, and the clean vocal turns landed without softening the band's edge.
